Sky Over Goldstone

Time Lapse Videos

Over the last two rotations I have been working an overnight shift. Since it’s when the majority of the guys in the unit are passed out sleeping, I have a fair bit of time to kill up at my truck. I decided to start taking some time lapse astro shots.

Balboa Park at Night

Balboa Park Night Landscapes

I was in San Diego for the weekend and decided to spend a night wandering around Balboa Park. Balboa Park is such a cool location. It is full of museums, gardens, and all kinds of things to see. It’s beautiful during the day and down right amazing at night.

A Trip to Our Nation’s Capital

Front Range Sunrise

I had been wanting to get some sunrise shots of the front range for a while and decided that today was going to be my day.

Full Moon Landscapes at Garden of the Gods

Well a few nights ago was the full moon for the month. For those of you who don’t know, I love shooting nighttime landscapes. The biggest problem is actually getting out there and doing it. Work, family, and weather often play a huge factor in if I am able to go out or not (clouds are a real good way to completely screw up the night). Well Thursday night couldn’t have been better. Lynn, another photographer in the area asked if I wanted to join him at Garden of the Gods, and I said sure.
